Suite. Numerous changes have been made, both in
fixes and in new features. We appreciate your feedback,
which plays a large role in shaping this Integrated

NewTek Europe has provided
an easier system for online
registration, and the
ability
to register over-the-phone with Customer Services.
If your VT[4] is already registered, installation
of this Service Pack will not affect that. If not,
you will need to register VT[4] to download the
VT[4] SP1 update.
Downloadable Update Installation
Instructions
The Service Pack 1 downloadable
update is an executable file (extension
.exe). You can download the appropriate file
to wherever
you choose on your hard drive. Once you have
downloaded this file, navigate to the folder
where you placed the file, and double-click on
the file to execute the installer.
New features and
fixes
VT[4] SP1 has completed thorough beta testing,
and is stable. Within VT[4] SP1, there are some
new features and numerous fixes as well:

New Color Match
feature
Audio clips can
now be played back before conforming
has completed.
Separate audio
files can be written from VT-Edit for
each
audio channel.
Italic support
for image layers in VT-Edit, and separate
shadow
layer.
PRX (WindowsMedia
profile) support in VT-Stream.
.DVD format supported
(raw DV data files.)
Improvements
DV camera
includes VT[4] in the list of available
applications that can use it.
Selection of
DV camera, launches VT[4] with the
capture panel open.
General improved
performance across the board.
Reverb has been
improved to normalize audio better.
Native reading
of compressed DV audio from files is
now optimized.
Support for
damaged DV audio frames.
Improved
performance when displaying icons on
large numbers
of stills.
Optimized

VGA Screen
capture updates alpha channel in real-time,

There is
a “hard
key” mode
in addition to the default “soft-key” behavior.

Unsupported

IMPORTANT
- PLEASE READ
Before
installing VT[4] SP1, back up any personal
content located in the VT[4] folder
on your hard drive.
To
download this update, you will need your
VT[4] serial number. Once you have supplied
this information, you will have access
to VT[4] SP1.
There
is a new Registration process that was
implemented with VT[4]. If you have already
registered VT[4], no further registration
action is required. If not, you will
need to register VT[4] to download the
VT[4] SP1 update. NewTek Europe has provided
an easier system for online registration,
