NewTek TriCaster™ streams Amy Macdonald, Daniel Powter, Franz Ferdinand and many famous artists live on French Virgin Radio’s website

Bordeaux, France – February 13, 2009 - 3D Storm - NewTek Europe, European distributor for NewTek's products for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), announced today that TriCaster™ portable live production system was used to produce and live stream the famous French Cauet’s radio show “Le Morning”, with many famous artists like Amy Macdonald and Daniel Powter. The show was live streamed from Strasbourg, France on Friday, February the 6th from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on www.virginradio.fr and www.cauet.fr
Archived videos of the show are now available on these websites.
For his first outside Paris trip, Cauet and his team live streamed the show from Strasbourg’s Zenith in front of 5000 to 7000 people. Cauet show: “Le Morning” runs daily from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Virgin Radio. Since It started on September 2008, it has become the second most popular morning radio show tuned by 25 to 34 years olds.
Virgin Radio was very pleased about this project. “Cauet is the only radio host who could fill a concert hall and move a massive group of 5000 people at 7:00 a.m… He won’t deprive himself !”
Many guests joined the special event, including: Amy Macdonald, Franz Ferdinand or Daniel Powter. The show was entirely produced and live streamed with TriCaster Broadcast™, NewTek’s portable live production system and broadcasted via Letmotiv the new Letmotiv agency’s player.
