NewTek TriCaster™ Delivers Virginia's Inaugural Black Tie and Blue Dominion Ball to U.S. Troops

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – January 15, 2009 – NewTek Inc., manufacturer of industry-leading video and 3D animation products, today announced that TV Worldwide chose TriCaster™ portable live production system to produce and live stream the Virginia Inaugural Black Tie and Blue Dominion Ball Monday, January 19 on www.tvworldwide.com and www.usvets.tv.
“On this historic occasion, and for the 3rd presidential inauguration in a row, TV Worldwide is pleased to bring ‘e’naugural Ball festivities via live webcast to veterans and our brave men and women currently serving in the U.S. armed forces,” said Dave Gardy, chairman and chief executive officer, TV Worldwide. “Using NewTek TriCaster, we are honored to be able to provide ball attendees the opportunity to send live greetings to our troops overseas."
Hosted by Buzz Aldrin, the entire event is being produced and live streamed from The National Air and Space Museum in The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center beginning at 8:00 p.m. CST. Honorary guests include top officials, including Virginia Governor Timothy Kaine and Major General Roger Nadeau from the United States Army. Virginia Inaugural Ball attendees will be able to send video greetings to troops overseas which will be live and archived for a full year on TV Worldwide's Veterans Internet TV Channel, US Vets.TV (www.usvets.tv).
