LightWave 3D® Discovery Tour Seminars |
NewTek Europe offers in-depth LightWave
3D® training seminars at a city near you!
NewTek Europe
is embarking on a tour of training seminars with stops
in several major European cities. Taking in England,
Spain, France, The Netherlands, Germany and Italy,
the truly European nature of the tour cannot be overemphasised:
"We want to offer European users access to high-end
3D modelling and animation techniques while demonstrating
what LightWave 7.5 is capable of", said the director
of NewTek Europe, Franck Lafage.
To ensure that the teaching is
of the utmost quality, class sizes will be kept to
a minimum. The seminars will be presented by renowned
artist and trainer Graham Toms and will be highly
structured. They will however be fluid enough to allow
for deviation into topics not covered by the course:
"The seminars will be highly organised with a
curriculum aimed at professional-level techniques
for modelling and animation. There will be also an
open session for other areas of LightWave 3D®
the students want to know about at the end of each
day", said Toms. Following Grahams participation
in, and the resounding success of, the Next Dimension
training tour, the European LightWave Discovery Tour
is designed to create even more enthusiasm for NewTeks
3D modelling and rendering package used in productions
from Star Trek: Enterprise to Star Wars: Attack of
the Clones.
About Graham Toms
The presenter of the seminars
is an ex-Disney animator and animation tutor who designed
the curriculum for the world-famous Disney training
programme. Not only is he an accomplished 3D artist
and trainer using LightWave 3D®, he also teaches
claymation and traditional pen and ink animation techniques.
He is currently making a short film called "Metamorphosis
of a Texas Longhorn" and has recently been involved
with 3D visualisation work for the scientific national
curriculum for the United Kingdom.
