Since joining NewTek's
official distributor for Spain Digital Universe back in the 1990's,
Girones has leveraged his experience and enthusiasm for NewTek products
such as VTNT and LightWave 3D as product manager and demo artist. He
worked at DPS Iberica for a while and came back to NewTek VT
and LightWave as Director of Dan Video's multimedia department until
2005. He then created his own company, which continues to
actively distribute and resell NewTek's VT; TriCaster range of products,
SpeedEDIT, 3D Arsenal and LightWave 3D. Working at NewTek Europe,
Girones is now free from his responsabilities as a reseller to devote
all his
energy
and
knowledge
to promote NewTek products in Spain.

As primary contact for local resellers in close relation with inside sales administration in Bordeaux, Emilio Girones said his goal is to train and motivate the dealer channel so that they can see how NewTek products work and experience how productive and professional they are for the Broadcast companies but also for individuals.

Girones has studied photojournalism and video reporting at the faculty of Information Sciences in Madrid. He's a die-hard professional in graphics having started on TDI & AutoCAD in. He has a solid experience in CAD and Visualization and collaborated a number of times on commercials for well-known Spanish television channels. His knowledge and understanding of the television film industry, of AV product distribution and content production will help realise the full potential of the Spanish market.
