NewTek to Broadcast Live from SIGGRAPH 2004 (Booth #1147)

See industry leaders share their secrets to award-winning production techniques right on your desktop.

Los Angeles, CA -- August 5, 2004 -- NewTek, Inc., manufacturer of industry-leading 3D animation and video products, today announced that it will be broadcasting live from their SIGGRAPH booth (#1147) via the internet, August 10-12, 2004, from the Los Angeles Convention Center. The live web stream can be viewed during SIGGRAPH show hours at http://www.newtek.com/shows/siggraph/2004/. NewTek's award-winning VT[3] Live(TM) will be used to live-switch and stream the event.

The presentation schedule includes William Vaughan, NewTek’s LightWave® evangelist and Kiki Stockhammer, NewTek’s original and most memorable product evangelist. Vaughan will also be presenting extended feature demonstrations of the latest capabilities added to the Emmy® award-winning LightWave 3D® toolset in version 8. In addition, NewTek's SIGGRAPH show will feature presentations by award-winning artists who use NewTek's LightWave 3D and VT[3](TM) in production including:

The VT[3] LiveTM Bundle is priced at 5 995 € +VAT and includes the VT[3]TM cards/software, SX-8 Switcher, the RS-8 Switcher Control Surface and the optional Genlock board. The VT[3]TM is priced at 2 995 € +VAT. Available options include the SX-8 Switcher for 1 995 € +VAT, RS-8 Switcher Control Surface for 1 250 € +VAT, SDI I/O daughter card for 1 250 € +VAT, and VT Genlock daughter card for 595 € +VAT.
