LIVE from Battersea, SISCaster broadcast history
SIS LIVE was chosen to stream this multi camera event live on the web. SISCaster was the ideal solution for this project as it was already fully integrated with TriCaster and 3Play and therefore ready to deploy. The TriCaster was used to mix camera sources and the 3Play was used to replay the stunt in slo-mo.
For this production using TriCaster and 3Play together, SISCaster only needed two staff, a vision operator (operating TriCaster/3Play) and a SISCaster operator. |

Stuntman, Rocky Taylor, 64, made the headlines in 1985 when one of his stunts went tragically wrong while filming on the set of Michael Winner’s thriller starring Charles Bronson: Death Wish 3. He suffered a fractured spine, pelvis and horrific burns and nearly ended his career that day.
But Rocky Taylor, who has doubled for Roger Moore and Sean Connery in James Bond films, attempted that stunt again when he jumped off Battersea Power Station onto a pile of cardboard boxes. He exorcised his demons by landing perfectly in front of hundreds of onlookers. |

“There was an air of trepidation on site as the first stunt went wrong in 1985. We were all very excited to be involved in providing coverage of this nail-biting event.”
Battersea is a district in London South, known for the iconic structure of its power plant which is often used as a location for films such as the Dark Knight in 2007. Battersea Power Station gained worldwide recognition when it was used for the cover of Pink Floyd album “Animals” in 1977.
The stunt was screened live on Facebook with SISCaster, the highlights are available on YouTube. |

| This spectacular charity event generated a lot of publicity in the UK press, pre and post event. Rocky Taylor’s first live stunt attracted media coverage across the UK and was shown on Sky News and several times on ITV London News. |
