Ben: It's my third
time at the 3D Festival this year. Have you been
before William?
William: Nope, it's my
first time even in Europe!
You looked totally at home
with us in Bordeaux. I wish I had some snaps of
us on the Sunday when you arrived.
It was great spending time
with your family watching "Black Books"
and "Spaced" episodes
I was instantly
hooked
look
Im a robot prostitute
from the future!
Finn is a great kid
must take after your wife :)
Spending time with the
gang at NewTek Europe was great. It was a treat
to talk with the crew from so many diverse backgrounds
and it was really nice to see that they shared
the same passion for the users that I do.
What did you like best
in Bordeaux?
I was quite impressed with
Francks Lego collection but not as impressed
as I was with his car of the Future
where
did he find that thing? I would love to see someone
re-create it in LW
what a killer car!
Sounds like a good basis
for a competition to me! :)
How long have you been
in Bordeaux? With your accent it couldnt
be for that long?
I came here in October
last year. A long time ago (it now seems) I used
to edit 3D World.
William had to take his
shoes off at all the airports we went through
because his shoes are sooo huge they need metal
reinforcement, which set the machines off. That
and the fact that he looks a bit like Richard
Reid
I think theyre getting
bigger as I age... I went up a size last year.
Apart from that, the trip to Copenhagen was great
and gave me a chance to rest before the big show
.
To me it just seemed like
Gunfight at the OK corral! "There's always
a man faster on the shutter than you are, and
the more you use a camera, the sooner you're gonna
run into that man."
I think I ended up with
a total of 400+ pix from the trip.
Ooh, we mustn't forget
the cheese thing at the hotel. I'm sure all Scandinavians
will know what I'm talking about! :)
